After the removal of fakeh and pixel, and the subsequent but brief death of the x7 name, x7 has resurrected and refreshed itself with a new core line-up featuring old timer Daniel ‘Grim’ Mather and new sourcer James ‘Pala’ Harding.

'Grim' has a long history in source, featuring in teams such as encore and f4f. x7 is glad to have his gameplay, advice and comradery in team.
'Pala', althought new to source, has played with many of the x7 players before and looks forward to working with them again.

The line-up currently stands at:

- Pala
- ClintO
- DannyGrim

With line-up changes so close to our first CEVO match, we were worried initially that it would take time for the team to gel properly, however in the short time we have been together we have begun operating as a team far beyond our years. We hope to fine tune this for our upcoming war against Qlimax on de_dust2, and start the season off with a bang.

After doing well in the one day comp team x7 decided a break was in order after practicing so hard and placing well in the GotGames one day competition, first off i would like to say a personal well done boys we put in the time and effort and it showed, we just got extremely unlucky on dust2 against variant and im 100% confident the next time the two sides meet the outcome will be a lot different in our favor. The last two night's x7 returned to practice and i think the break was needed, it refreshed everyone and everyone came into prac revitalized and roaring to go, only a few minor things need to be fixed and touched up on, a lot of great practice results against some very decent teams just shows x7 has a very bright future ahead. i look forward to seeing where we are placed in CEVO, even if we do get jipped boys, that's ok, it just means we will be a lot stronger when we get where we want to go.

After discovering the rigorous practice and dedication required, RequieM decided x7 was not the team for him and decided to part ways shortly after joining, leaving room for Daniel ' fakeh' Vargovic and John ' pixeL ' Mcain to join the ranks and to move Sam ' LarmaN ' Larman to 6th and active staff member doing behind the scenes work for team x7.

Asking Julian ' JoolzCheat ' Griffin what he thought about the new additions to the team's changes and what he believes about it, this is what he had to say:

'I personally feel the team has never been stronger, fakeh has had previous experience in x7 before, as well of course, pixel. There is strong team chemistry between everyone in the team and I personally think this is the lineup that will carry it to the top. Moey is settling into his new role of team caller, which is good, pixel (AimStars 3rd) and fakeh (AimStars 1st) are fragging up a strom as was to be expected, all things are progressing well, the team is expanding and new and improved results are showing, this team has never been better.'

After the departure of long time team member and friend, Pixel, x7 needed to find a suitable replacement to fill the void.

After weeks of searching for the right person, x7 would like to officially welcome 'RequieM' to the line up. RequieM will no doubt be a solid member and will bring to the team amazing skill.

It is expected that this coming season will be a most fruitful one, providing amazing results for all players and the team as a whole.

On behalf of x7, I would like to extend a warm welcome to RequieM. No doubt everyone is looking forward to seeing how the team will grow and evolve through this up and coming CEVO season.

With recent events with eGames and CEVO it became apparent that some changes needed to occur. After some lengthy discussions everyone was decided that it was time for Stephen "f0oster" Mills to head off for bigger and better things. On behalf of x7, I would like to say a big thank you to Stephen for getting us to where we are now.

With the departure of Stephen on relatively good terms we had to pick up a caller that could make an easy transition to the team (commitment, time schedule and play style). With this I would like to welcome horizo[n] as the caller to the new line up.

- Pixel

With this new improved and keen line up I'm sure that we will make a strong presence in the next season of CEVO.
