CEVO-P: A Rocky Start Already?
Shock appears to have gripped the Professional leagues.

by AKS

As it seems, there are a few hiccups since the team selections were announced in CEVO-Professional. What can be done?

It seems there is a possibility that SEQUENTIAL Gaming could be dying amidst rumours that players are deserting the lineup. It seems that Zeke and Dripskii have left Sequential Gaming. Zeke was picked up by Archaic.ES to aid them in their International Campaign and Dripskii quit source to focus on his studies. While it is a great step forwards for Zeke's career and a mature decision for Dripskii to make, it has left SQL with many issues to combat. There have also been rumours that SQL picked up Denwo in an attempt to salvage the lineup. I attempted to catch up with Nateus regarding the matter and he left me with a few brief words.

Nateus:
Zeke's gone to Archaic and Snyper has gone overseas for 6 weeks. I don't have much else to release but as for the state of the team, I don't know what we're doing; we could be dead, CS:S wise anyway.

This could potentially cripple the selections process of the previous weeks and the Champions of last seasons CEVO-Professional League may be unable to defend their titles.

In other news, Resistance have stepped up to the plate and come back to the playing field after a lengthy inactive period. In order to solidify their position in the Professional League and attempt to add a bit more firepower to the lineup, The Resistance have picked up MRT, the very loud and proud fragger from Melbourne. MRT has been turning heads lately with his recent performance at Respawn LAN, adding to his recent performances, he has become a formidable player and will be a great addition to the Resistance crew. I spoke to the Leader of the Resistance, SilverBullet, and here's what he told me.

SilverBullet:
MRT's addition to the team will not just add fire power but loads of experience too. The team welcomes him warmly and cannot wait to test him out in full force.

On a lighter note, it appears Mindplex have decided to try and step up the mark lately, signing up to the CEVO-Professional bracket. After checking with the Mindplex Captain, Ar3s, he assured me it was just an accident and that he clicked the wrong division in a rush to sign up. Luckily, CEVO Admins are on the ball today and have already actioned the move for Mindplex to be placed in the correct division.

I managed to snap up this screenshot before the fix.

This should shape up to be an interesting season.

Good Luck to all teams, and keep your eye out for more news.
